In the midst of the Pandemic, the HighLife organisation gears up to fulfilling its main objectives when doing fundraising for students, unemployed youth for #TutorMe Fundraising Campaign The campaign will be hosted at Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane 30 October 2021.

“We want to lead in creating the change we want to see in our society. This includes creating jobs for the youth, standing up against Women Abuse, Xenophobic attacks as well as racism and discrimination. We strive for unity and helping students attain their academic goals,” statement read.

“We have engaged Vice Chancellors including Student Representative Councils about this initiative and they have responded positively. This campaign will culminate in a live event being held when Covid-19 national regulations permit.

“We have artists, speakers from parliament and the department of higher education who have agreed to give an address to people attending the live event on the above-mentioned issues. Our aim is to unite all South Africans under one goal, which is to see our South African youth succeed and uplift our country. Let's unite and strive towards developing our country.

“The campaign started in May 2021 and will be hosted across all nine provinces. The events entail live performances from diverse well-known and local emerging artists of popular genres,” stated in a statement.

This is a fundraising initiative, raised funds will go towards assisting unemployed graduates with possible employment opportunities. The funds will also go towards students from Limpopo who are struggling academically and grade 12 learners with their university application as well as registration.

A number of companies will be present on the day to present job opportunities they created for Limpopo youth. The funds will be distributed by the local municipality to deserving learners and students post the event.

“This amazing campaign will take place on 30 October 2021 at Peter Mokaba stadium. There’ll be musical performances by Makadzi, King Monada, Cassper, DBN gogo, Demthuda, Major league Amaroto, Prince Benza, Gigi Lamayne, Henny C, Brenda Mtambo, Boohle, Kwenisto, Dr. Winnie Mashaba, Peter Mabula, Lucas Mulambo, Psalmist Takie Ndou and Sbu Noah.
